Run your fundraiser successfully and hassle free from the start. Use our tips to help you along the way.
Plan and start letting people know about your fundraiser in advance, the more awareness of your fundraiser you build the better and bigger it will be. Take some time to plan out your timeline so you and others on your team know where things are at, it's also a great way of seeing the whole year on your calendar so you can plan and space your fundraising activities as you want too.
Use newsletters, diaries, notice boards and assemblies to remind people about your fundraiser once it has started. This is really important both as a reminder and in case notices have been lost or put at the bottom of a pile never to be seen again! We suggest a reminder just after the start and another one just before your return to school date.
Thank everyone involved and let them know the end result. Let the school community know too - it's great for everyone to see how successful your fundraiser was and what you were able to achieve.
Organise a reliable fundraising team, keep them in the loop and delegate tasks.
